Details: Load the picnic basket and cue the pyrotechnics. The 51st Annual Target Fireworks will be held June 24, promptly at 10:06 p.m.
Keeping with tradition, the fireworks will be staged by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale with more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects exploding along the Detroit International Riverfront.
The Parade Company will also host its official VIP "Rooftop Party” from 6 – 11 p.m. atop the Miller Parking Garage. Benefit tickets are $175 for adults and $75 for children ages 6 and under. The party is a fundraiser for the Michigan Thanksgiving Parade Foundation, which funds the fireworks and America’s Thanksgiving Parade.
The party includes: meeting Iron Chef Michael Symon; a visit with Detroit Lions mascot, Roary; music and dancing.
