Details:Who said fireworks can only be shot off on the Fourth of July? Why not enjoy them in June, too? The 51st annual Target Fireworks in Detroit are being shot off at 10:06 p.m. on Wednesday, June 24th, 2009, over the Detroit River. Thursday, the 25th, is saved tentatively in case of rainy weather.
Put on by The Parade Company and Target, the Target Fireworks in Detroit are a much enjoyed summertime tradition. The fireworks are choreographed by Zambelli Fireworks Internationale and include more than 10,000 pyrotechnic effects. This fireworks spectacular is one of the largest fireworks displays in the entire country.
