As one part of the “Casino Lac-Leamy Sound of Light shows”,the Wednesday night fireworks light up the night sky of Ottawa, the festival was first held in 1996, over 2 million spectators was attracted here.
The event starts at 9:15 pm, and the Alexandra Bridge was closed temporarily, earlier in the afternoon, plenty of festival tents were set up along the banks of Lake Leamy, people also enjoyed the food and music.
There are four teams this year, Hong Kong made the first performance on August 2, Portugal team will perform on this Saturday and the Swizerland team on August 13, there is also a grand finale on August 16, the winner will be announced then.
