Longview seeking sponsor for 4th of July fireworks display

DETAILS: The League of Business Owners will not sponsor or organize the 4^th of July fireworks display in the City of Longview this year.

For the past five years LOBO has taken on the responsibility of raising money through sponsorships to augment the City of Longview's $10,000 contribution. We have also provided a sponsor area, contracted with the Pyrotechnic Co., and worked with various city personnel to make sure the residents of Longview had a 4^th of July fireworks display to enjoy.

The League of Business Owners is unable to take this on in 2010 for many reasons, but we are willing to share our experience and contacts with another community group that may be interested in continuing this wonderful community project.
