New time, place for Grand Prix Festival fireworks display

Details: The fireworks show scheduled as part of the 17th annual Grand Prix Festival in Watkins Glen will take place at 8 p.m. Sept. 11 at Watkins Glen State Park off of Franklin Street, the Watkins Glen Area Chamber of Commerce has announced.

The festival, sponsored by Chemung Canal Trust Co., is free and takes place in downtown Watkins Glen from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sept. 11.

The fireworks show was originally slated for 9 p.m. but the time is now 8 p.m. The show is is sponsored by Community Bank NA.
