The annual lighting and fireworks ceremony of Lewiston Bridge will be held in Nov.29, and the fireworks will be set off at 5:30 pm above the river.
There will be food and music, and the Santa will appear at the Lewiston Hotel Dance Hall at 3:00 pm and hear wishes from the children, Santa will cross the Old Lewiston Bridge in his sleigh after the fireworks and meet again with children at the Dance Hall.There will be ample food vendors offering everything from chili to baked potatoes, tamales and hot beverages. Craft vendors will fill the Dance Hall and street next to the Lewiston Hotel. The Moose Family Center will be serving tri-tip sandwiches until they run out. Local stores will be open and offering special treats as well. Don’t forget to stop in at the Old Lewiston Schoolhouse Library for treats and Christmas cheer.
The organizers suggest that people do not bring their dogs, because the fireworks booms will frighten them and damage their hearing.
