2014 New Year is already passed, but some amazing shows happened on New Year Eve that night people can not forget. Like there was an amazing fireworks show in Sydney, according to the organizers, an estimated one and a half million people lined Sydney harbor for the annual New Year firework spectacular on the night of December 31. The city council said that this year, 7 tonnes of fireworks were ignited on the Harbor Bridge and at different locations around the city including, for the first time in a decade, on the sails of the Sydney Opera House, to create a 12 minutes long show, coordinated with lighting and music.
More than a thousand fireworks were set off from the roof of the World Heritage listed Opera House, having been specially designed not to damage the building which celebrated its 40th anniversary in 2013.
