Bright fireworks lit the sky above the main stadium of 2014 Asian Games in Incheon, it marks
the start of the big opening ceremony, the flashing fireworks was set off to the sky and
formed the word “WELCOME”， it brought the audience to feet and the atmosphere was on fire!

The first act of the evening is performed by schoolchildren from South Korea, PSY (the
performer of Gangnam style) and Lang Lang（famous pianist from China）also presented us a
wonderful performance.

A total of 45 nations and regions are participating in the game, near ten thousand athletes
from all over Asia are competing in 439 events in 38 sports, it is an important test before
the 2016 Rio Olympic Games for the athletes, China has the largest team of 897, and for most
of them, it is their first time to compete in Asian Games, it will become valuable
experiences later on for the young athletes.

The Asian Games came from the 1st Oriental Olympics (also called the Far East
Championships).These were held in Manila in 1913. The games are regulated by the OCA(Olympic
Council of Asia) under the supervision of the IOC(International Olympic Committee). It was
held every four years allowing athletes from all over Asia to compete, it is the second
largest sports event in the world after the Summer Olympic Games, the last Asian Games was
hosted by China.

A magnificent fireworks displays was held to celebrate the end of the 10-day Forth Road Bridges Festival, the spectacular performance attracted thousands of visitors.

There was a torchlight procession that took place on the bridge, over hundreds of people join the parade.

The bridge was closed in both directions from 10:00pm, and a giant number “50” was lighted
on 10:06pm, and a 1006-metre-long fireworks waterfall was also set off to recognize the 1006m
span of the bridge.2014 torch-bearers formed a kilometre-long troops of fire, it was led by
Vikings from Up Helly Aa and three pipe bands, the whole event was very symbolic.

Organizers said that the celebration inspired people to see the bridge from a new angle, and it was just like a brand new bridge emerges from the water.

The performance was presented by Edinburgh-based Unique Events, it is also the team that host the 2012 Londong Olympic Games ceremonies.

The Blackpool Promenade was crowded with tourists on the night of Firday September 5, and

the sky was lighted by fireworks.

It is Sweden team that performed yesterday and there will be another two performances due

to display on the following two Fridays, teams from Austria and Canada will try to give

their best performances.

The  champion team will be announced on the night of September 26, after the fireworks

show from Titanium team of UK.

The festival attracted thousands of visitors and some of the most talented fireworks

engineers from all over the world.

Big fireworks show will be held to celebrate the 50th birthday of Forth Road Bridge,

there will be a 10-day festival and thousands of spectors will come to join the unique

and spectacular event and enjoy the festival.

On the evening of Saturday September 13, there will be thousands of torches lighting up

along the bridge, a total number of 2014 torch bearers will light the road across the

Forth Bridge to Fife.

The visitors will enjoy music, food and a big torchlight procession, but The climax of

the show will be the spectacular fireworks finale at 10:06 p.m.  the Time marks the

structure’s 1006-metre-main span.

The event will sell a total of 2014 tickets, priced 23 pounds plus booking fee, the arena

will be restricted to over 16s only for security reasons, and the party will be open to

all ages but children must be accompanied by adults.

On August 31, a big fireworkds concert in Edinburgh was held to celebrate the end of 2014 Edinburgh international festival, thousands of spectators enjoyed a wonderful Sunday night on the grass of Edinburgh Castle.

This year, there are many highlights on the festival, such as music and dance from the South African, Plays and Usher Hall concert series.

The first Edinburgh International Festival was held in 1947, many famous symphony orchestras such as Schnabel, Szigeti, Fournier joined the event, and since 1950’s, International Film Festival, music festival and book fair became part of the festival, this year, over 2400 artist from 43 nations attended the festival.

Every year of August, Edinburgh becomes the focus and attracts thousands of audience from all over the world.

 

 

 

 

The  day-time firework performance during the controlled demolition of Wellington Hotel Annex was a great success, it left a deep impression on the spectators.

Different colors of fireworks was arranged to compose the shapes of alphabets, the bright colors like yellow, red and blue created a heated atmosphere, the crowds began cheering and people took photos to record the exciting moment, of course standing at a safe area.

After a great many loud explosions and smokes, the entire building was shaking and trembling drastically , then it began to collapse, and the building was successfully demolished through directional blasting after its last show. “I never see this kind of fireworks, the show was really amazing!” people said,
