China’s New Production Safety Law will be Put into Force on December 1

The newly revised law of the PRC on safe production was deliberated by the NPC Standing
Committee last month, and it will be put into force on December 1.

According to the new law, enterprises with over 100 employees must set up safety
regulators and high-risk industry need to hire certified safety engineers to be
responsible for the management work.

The new law also increased the penalties for illegal activities, serious safety accident
enterprises will be fined up to 20 million yuan, 4 times as much as the previous laws. It also gives greater safety regulatory responsibilities to the government which makes safety production situation to change completely and urges economy to develop, has the very important realistic significance and far-reaching.

China State Administration of Work Safety: 14 Provinces and Municipalities Exited the Fireworks Industry Entirely

According to the news on the website of China State Administration of Production Safety, there are 14 provinces and municipalities have exited the fireworks industry entirely, these are： Beijing, Tianjin, Shanxi, Inner Mongolia, Liaoning, Jilin, Heilongjiang, Shanghai, Jiangsu, Fujian, Gguangdong, Tibet, Qinghai and Ningxia.
Other 4 provinces, Anhui, Hainan, Gansu, Xinjiang will also withdraw from the industry by the end of this year.

This situation was considered as the influence of China’s domestic market contraction, but the news will be positive for the current enterprises and promote the production of safety in China.

World Fireworks Championships officially opened in Blackpool on September 5

The Blackpool Promenade was crowded with tourists on the night of Firday September 5, and

the sky was lighted by fireworks.

It is Sweden team that performed yesterday and there will be another two performances due

to display on the following two Fridays, teams from Austria and Canada will try to give

their best performances.

The  champion team will be announced on the night of September 26, after the fireworks

show from Titanium team of UK.

The festival attracted thousands of visitors and some of the most talented fireworks

engineers from all over the world.

Fireworks and Forth Bridges Festival

Big fireworks show will be held to celebrate the 50th birthday of Forth Road Bridge,

there will be a 10-day festival and thousands of spectors will come to join the unique

and spectacular event and enjoy the festival.

On the evening of Saturday September 13, there will be thousands of torches lighting up

along the bridge, a total number of 2014 torch bearers will light the road across the

Forth Bridge to Fife.

The visitors will enjoy music, food and a big torchlight procession, but The climax of

the show will be the spectacular fireworks finale at 10:06 p.m.  the Time marks the

structure’s 1006-metre-main span.

The event will sell a total of 2014 tickets, priced 23 pounds plus booking fee, the arena

will be restricted to over 16s only for security reasons, and the party will be open to

all ages but children must be accompanied by adults.

Shanghai International Music Fireworks Festival will Run Championship

In the 14th year of the Shanghai music fireworks festival, the championship tournament will be held during the National Day golden week, all the participating teams are champions of the previous festivals.

Shanghai music fireworks festival was first held in 2000, it opens up the history of holding international fireworks festivals in Asia. This year，the festival will be held in the Shanghai Century Park, the organizers says that their will be laser shows during the fireworks displays and this will surprise the spectators.

It is reported that six teams will join this year’s game, and they comes from Greece, France, Belgium and China, the performance days are September 30, October 3 and October6.

September 30 will be the China’s special night and a big fireworks display called “Fireworks Dance” will be held, the designers said that the show combines fireworks, music, laser and so on, it will create a dreamlike scene.

Fireworks Concert Rounds off the 2014 Edinburgh International Festival

On August 31, a big fireworkds concert in Edinburgh was held to celebrate the end of 2014 Edinburgh international festival, thousands of spectators enjoyed a wonderful Sunday night on the grass of Edinburgh Castle.

This year, there are many highlights on the festival, such as music and dance from the South African, Plays and Usher Hall concert series.

The first Edinburgh International Festival was held in 1947, many famous symphony orchestras such as Schnabel, Szigeti, Fournier joined the event, and since 1950’s, International Film Festival, music festival and book fair became part of the festival, this year, over 2400 artist from 43 nations attended the festival.

Every year of August, Edinburgh becomes the focus and attracts thousands of audience from all over the world.

Fireworks Explosion Killed Two Person in a Wedding Reception

On Saturday afternoon, there was a fireworks explosion at a wedding reception in Cumbria, it
was caused by the fireworks stored in a shed nearby.

There was a big explosion and caused blaze, two people was killed in the accident, the police
said that they found the bodies of a man and a woman, but they didn’t announce the
identities.

The fireworks was stored in a outbuilding near the wedding venue, the witnesses heard a loud
explosion and then they saw fireworks and smokes come out of the building.

The gusts says that the stored fireworks was prepareed for the big fireworks show later in
the evening, “It should have been a beautiful day but suddenly there are fireworks shooting
into the sky. Then there are grey smoke coming out, we know something terrible had happened. ”

The Cumbria Police is still investigating the cause of the accident.
