May 7 -  Bonn GERMANY "Rhine in Flames - Nights of Bengal Fire" Fireworks. Rhine river - between Linz and Bonn, 9:40p. ("On one of the most beautiful current segments of the romantic Rhine river - between the "colorful town" Linz and the federal city Bonn - the Rhine river banks big illumination and firework displays "Rhine river in flames / Rhine river aflame at the seven mountains" takes place. For a festive season-opener the shore promenade and attractions of the on the Rhine river laid towns Linz, Erpel, Remagen, Unkel, Rheinbreitbach, Bad Honnef, Konigswinter and Bonn are lit in the red fluorescent glow of 2000 "Bengal Fire" lights. The red fluorescent Bengal Fire lights the way downstream for a fleet of more than 60 decorated and illuminated ships along a 26 km stretch - the longest stretch of any Rhine in Flames spectacle. May 21 - June 3 - IGNIS BRUNENSIS – the competition fireworks display is the greatest attraction
The highlight of the whole project, and the greatest attraction at the beginning of the summer
tourism season in Southern Moravia and the Czech Republic, is to be the sixth international
competition fireworks display IGNIS BRUNENSIS, the only event of its kind anywhere in Central
and Eastern Europe and one of the most important fireworks festivals anywhere in Europe and,
indeed, the world. World-famous companies will be giving fireworks performances accompanied
by music in the competition part of the festival held in the middle of Brno Reservoir. Visitors will
see a total of six pyro-musical performances (A PRELUDE, 4 IN-COMPETITION SHOWS and a
GRAND FINALE) with fireworks accompanied by music broadcast live by Radio KISS HÁDY on
88.3/104.1 FM

May 29 -  Longwood Gardens, PA "2005 Fireworks & Fountains"

The du Ponts have been fascinated with pyrotechnics for nearly two centuries, which is not surprising since they manufacturered explosives.  This show is produced on the grounds of the du Pont gardens and is one of the most sophisticated fireworks shows currently produced in the USA.  Highly recommended.
